Movie Review of "The Founder"

I would like to introduce The Founder. The Founder is an American movie released in 2016. The story is set in 1954 America and is based on a true story. This is the story of a hamburger shop in San Bernardino County, California that became a franchise and spread all over the world. The main character is Ray Kroc played by Michael Keaton and elder brother Mac McDonald is played by John Carroll Lynch, and the younger brother Dick McDonald is played by Nick Offerman. And the director is John Lee Hancock.

After the 1940s, when automobiles became commonplace, restaurants in the United States became popular, where young women called Carhops put on roller skates and brought meals to customers' cars. However, the waiting time was long and the orders were often wrong. At that time, there were few fast food restaurants and many people didn't know about it. In 1954, Ray Kroc was a milkshake mixers salesman. But the mixers didn't sell at all. One day, the McDonald brothers, who run a hamburger shop, ordered eight milkshake mixers from Ray. When Ray went to McDonald's, it was a hamburger shop with a rational system that he had never seen before. Ray was fascinated by McDonald's  and signed a franchise agreement with them on the condition that all changes must be approved by the McDonald brothers. However, this encounter with Ray becomes a nightmare for the McDonald brothers.

This movie tells the story of McDonald's from it’s beginnings to becoming the McDonald's of the world. Actually, the name McDonald's is different from the founder's name. Why didn't the founder name the hamburger shop after himself? Why did he choose the name McDonald's? This is the highlight. This movie isn't a scary story, but you will feel fear of human obsession. If you want your business to succeed and expand, talent alone may not be enough, Patience and action may be more important. Is the McDonald's founder a hero or a monster? Please watch the movie.

Movie Review of "Big"

I would like to introduce about Big. Big is an American movie released in 1988. The  main character is Josh played by Tom Hanks. In this movie, Tom Hanks does a great job playing Josh, who looks like an adult, but is a child on the inside. The movie was directed by Penny Marshall and written by Anne Spielberg. Anne is the younger sister of Steven Spielberg. Big received Academy Award nominations for Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay. It was a huge commercial success as well, grossing $151 million worldwide.

One day, 13-years-old Josh made a wish to an antique fortune-teller machine called Zolter saying, "I want to be big." The next morning, Josh suddenly changes from child to adult. Josh panics, but it’s too late. Reluctantly, he starts working at a toy store. At first, Josh wants to be a child again and go home but as the days go by, his feelings change little by little.

Big is a fantasy-comedy-drama movie. It is fun and the time flows by quickly
I especially like the scene where Josh, who works at a toy store, surprises and impresses the president and employees with his bright and flexible ideas. What's more the toys Josh conceived of are actually made. Also, one of the highlights is the scene in the middle of the movie where the president and Josh play the walking piano. After this, Josh's destiny changes. As for this piano songs, one song is Heart and Soul, and the other is the same as the song of the popular idol group NiziU, so I think everyone knows it. Please listen to it. Big isn't just funny, it's a heartwarming tale of friendship, love and growth. You can enjoy it regardless of generation. Please take a look.
